Volunteering at SSPF
Our volunteers are essential in helping us execute unique events and projects. More than 50 active volunteers collectively contribute over 1,000 hours of service to the Tahoe State Parks via the Sierra State Parks Foundation every year. When you volunteer 50 hours or more within the year, you will receive a regional park pass for the following year!

Year-Round Opportunities:
Special Events: Help set up, facilitate, and break down community events that connect visitors with our beautiful parks.
Front Desk Support: Welcome and assist guests at the visitor centers or gift shops at Donner Memorial State Park, Sugar Pine Point State Park and Vikingsholm.
Historic Gardens: Help refresh and restore the historic grounds with our summer Garden Club at Hellman-Ehrman Mansion and soon to come Garden Club at Vikingsholm.
