After a bountiful March Miracle, spring has finally arrived! ‘Tis the season for blooming flowers, chirping birds, and CAMPING! The next couple of blog posts will be focusing on how to have the best experiences camping, especially here in beautiful Tahoe!
First things first, you have to reserve your campsite and it is rightly time to do so! Visitors can reserve highly sought-after campsites and lodging six months in advance. You can make reservations 24/7 on ReserveCalifornia.com.
The first nights you can camp at Sugar Pine Point are May 23 and June 7, at D.L. Bliss are May 24, June 7, or June 14, and at Emerald Bay are June 7 and June 14, all depending on campsite. Donner Memorial opens its campgrounds May 23.
After deciding when and where you’re staying, you should look up what you can do. Each park listed above also contain recreational activities you can do there. Be sure to check out our events and events around Tahoe happening during your stay!
That’s all for now. Tune in next month for the perfect packing list, recipes, campfire stories and games, trails, and more!
