Tahoe SRA Campground offers Junior Ranger programs for campers and visitors in the summer, and has a small visitor center. Wood for campsites is available for sale at the park as well.

Hiking
Tahoe Rim Trail
The Tahoe Rim Trail is one of the world’s premier trails. It passes through two states (California and Nevada), six counties, one state park, three National Forests, and three Wilderness areas. Biking
There are incredible bike trails from Tahoe State Recreation Area to Tahoe City and beyond. Bikes can be rented in Tahoe City. During the summer and fall months, the paved trails are open for a variety of recreational uses. Bicyclists, joggers, strollers, anglers, and even horses may be found along the way.
