Groomed Nordic Ski Trails

Nordic Ski like an Olympian

Groomed cross-country ski trails at Sugar Pine Point State Park are open to the public. These trails were made famous when the 1960 Winter Olympics’ biathlon and cross-country events were held there.

Trails are groomed Mondays and Fridays as conditions allow for the remainder of the snow season. Parking is $5 per vehicle.

Free trail maps are available at the trailhead. You can also find it online here or download one through SSPF’s Lake Tahoe Park app.
