Yoga in the Park – August 11th

August 11 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Enjoy a one-hour yoga session with trained yogis – SSPF Tour Guide, Stefanie Studen!

Stefanie studied theories of empowerment all throughout college, but it wasn’t until she found yoga that she discovered the theory of empowerment she had been looking for that entire time. Yoga has taught Stef that every person has the ability to tune into their own awareness and to be the creators of their own destiny. Our modern world moves so quickly and yoga provides us all with an opportunity to slow down, reassess what is truly important to us, and to move throughout the world with a lens of compassion. If there is one feeling Stef would like her students to leave her class with it is this: Lokah Samastah Suhkino Bavantu – may all beings, including myself, be happy and free and may all my thoughts, words, and actions contribute to that happiness and freedom for all.

Take advantage of your local state parks and enjoy everything they have to offer. Jamie will lead the group in a relaxing flow outside by the Hellman-Ehrman Mansion.

This is donation-based yoga series, with a suggested donation of $15 per class. All donations go right back to our state parks!

All skill levels (and modifications) are welcome! Please bring your own mat or towel. Masks will be required until you’re on your mats.
